ICAR has declared Ta’anit Esther (the Fast of Esther, 13 in Adar) as International Agunah Day. There are solutions to the problem within Jewish Law that are not bieng implemented. We must continue to raise awareness to the problem and study the solutions in order to apply pressure on decision makers to implement available solutions that will make Jewish divorce gender equal.
